The Worship Outlaw Collective

Worship Outlaw Collective:

We are a Collective of Worship Songwriters, Artists, and Leaders with a mission to write and produce Worship Music reflective of its roots within our culture.  Although our writers continue to write Modern Worship Music, the music written within the Worship Outlaw Collective is created to offer a fresh, retrospective, and relevant breath into the Worship of the modern church.

The music created within the Worship Outlaw Collective is more unconventional and consists of modernizing old hymns, spirituals, and soulful Gospel music.  Our sound, encompases blues, folk, bluegrass, southern rock and country undertones with rich harmonies rather than multiple layerings and digital loops. The music we create is a throwback. We strip the music down to enhance and resemble the pure sounds of old.

Similar to what Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Chris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, Jessie Colter, and Tanya Tucker did with Country music decades ago in forming the “Outlaws” bringing country music back to its roots; our goal is to preserve the rich and diverse culture of Worship within the Church.

Chip is humbled to have been sharing the gospel through Worship Music for nearly two decades and finds writing with independent writers and artists equally as rewarding as writing with professional Songwriters and Artists. Rarely turning down a cowrite, he continues to grow as a songwriter and finds his musical influences to be ever expanding. Living in Kentucky with his wife Sarah and three children; Chip is an avid Deer hunter and UK Fan! #BBN
